<image:caption>What is Yoga Therapy? Yoga is more than just asanas (postures) it is a rich, 5,000 year old tradition and philosophy rooted in discovery of the self, and promoting longevity and a state of overall (physical, mental, emotional) wellbeing. EMDR therapy allows the individual to process the traumatic memory so that it becomes less upsetting. The procedure includes facilitation of bilateral stimulation (both sides of brain actively stimulated and communicating with one another) through use of eye movement/tappers. The procedure can help individuals resolve these negative experiences and body memories, and to maintain a more positive self-concept, both in relation to the trauma, and overall. For more information on EMDR, click on “What is EMDR Therapy?” under the blog tab. Psychotherapy fees $150 a session with Licensed Psychologist, $125 with Licensed Associate Counselor, $40 a session with graduate interns We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance PPO Plans (Horizon, Anthem, Omnia), Aetna, United, and Oscar plans. <image:title>The Team - Lauren Turner, Psy.D. Owner of TCW, Licensed Psychologist, RYT-500, Reiki Master</image:title>
<image:caption>Throughout life, many of us will experience some sort of emotional issue. Some we can handle on our own, and others we may want to explore on a deeper level with a specialist. I look forward to working with those who are brave enough to face these issues head on, and to explore some of the underlying reasons why these issues have manifested. In order to treat mental health, it is not enough to treat the mind alone. We are dynamic and multidimensional beings, and it is my belief that we cannot treat the mind without also considering the body and spirit as well. Aside from being a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I am also a 500 hour registered yoga teacher and reiki master, and tend to use a holistic approach to treatment. I may suggest yoga therapy techniques, meditation practices, or reiki energy healing as part of treatment, and have a strong focus on the mind-body connection. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, yoga therapy, bariatric evals, LGBTQ concerns, adjustment disorders, as well as testing and assessment (ADHD and PTSD Screenings, neuropsychological and psychological/personality testing with report). As an expert in trauma and PTSD, I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Certified Clinician. I completed my training and supervision through the EMDR Institute, and became certified in 2015. I work with teens, adults, and couples, and offer both in person in Toms River office and virtual sessions. <image:caption>You don’t have to stay in the dark. There’s a sunny window waiting for you, and I’m here to help you find it. My mission as a therapist is to be that gentle light that reaches you in your darkest moments — a steady, caring presence when life feels heavy, lonely, or overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or self-worth challenges, I meet you with deep empathy, warmth, and zero judgment. I offer a safe and supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and held. I believe that at our core, we are all still carrying versions of our younger selves — our “baby us,” our child self and many of our adult patterns are shaped by what that inner child experienced. Healing often begins when we give that part of ourselves permission to speak, to feel, and to be nurtured. In our work together, we honor that child with gentleness, curiosity, and care. I take a holistic approach, honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and soul. Healing doesn’t just happen through talking — it also lives in the body, the breath, the way we care for ourselves day to day. I may incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, or grounding practices alongside traditional therapy to support your full self. My clinical work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT – especially its mindfulness components), Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Every session is tailored to your unique needs, and guided by the belief that you already carry wisdom and strength within — sometimes, you just need the right space to rediscover it. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey and bring both clinical knowledge and genuine heart into every room I sit in. You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to step out of the dark and into something lighter, brighter, and more whole — I’d be honored to walk that path with you I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, work with teens, adults, and couples, and offer both virtual and in person in Toms River office therapy sessions E-mail: melissa.bardales.tcw@gmail.com Phone: 732-554-1873</image:caption>

<image:title>The Team - Martha Cyrklaff, Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)</image:title>
<image:caption>You aren’t broken. You are a culmination of everything you have experienced up until this point in your life that you may not yet fully understand or have made sense of. Let’s untangle all of that together. My approach to therapy is rooted in our shared understanding of the human experience. I, too, am a human being who understands the tendency to narrate stories (sometimes unhelpfully) about our lives, lose touch with healthy ways of coping with all that the human experience entails, and simply feel lost in the vastness of everything that comes at us so quickly. Therapy is a space in which we can slow down, explore those stories, and begin making sense of the pieces. A big part of how I approach this work is exploring the “inner child” within you: who they were, how life shaped them, and how those early experiences molded the person you are today. Together we can begin untangling the beliefs, emotions, and patterns that formed along the way, especially the ones that may feel confusing or difficult to carry. In our work together, we may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another, Narrative Therapy to explore and potentially reshape the stories you have constructed about the things you have been through, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you reconnect with what feels meaningful and true to you. I offer sessions in both English and Polish and greatly value how language can shape connection and understanding. Polish was my first language and remains an important part of who I am today. It’s okay to accept help in making sense of yourself and your life story. And that’s exactly what I’m here for. I offer sessions in both English and Polish, work with teens, adults, and couples, and offer virtual therapy sessions E-mail: Martha.cyrklaff.tcw@gmail.com Phone: 646-397-8770</image:caption>

<image:caption>Pronouns: She/Hers Throughout our lives, we all encounter challenges that can feel difficult to manage alone. Some of these experiences can be navigated with time and support from loved ones, while others may call for deeper reflection and healing in a therapeutic setting. I work with individuals who are ready to face those deeper struggles and begin creating meaningful change in their lives. I come to this work as someone who has lived a full and varied life. This is a second career for me—one rooted in personal transformation, growth, and a deep calling to help others find clarity, healing, and connection. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, offering support that is grounded, compassionate, and attuned to your unique needs and story. In my trauma-informed approach, I take a relational and collaborative stance, drawing from a humanistic foundation. I use an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, and psychoeducation, while staying grounded in systems theory, person-centered care, and spiritual integration when appropriate. I believe healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and environment—and I work with clients to explore how all of these systems interact. Sessions are guided by deep listening, mutual respect, and the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen and supported. My areas of clinical focus include life transitions (divorce, motherhood, career change), anxiety, depression, ADHD & neurodivergence, maternal mental Health, and survivors of domestic and narcissistic abuse. I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent individuals, women, and those navigating complex relational or emotional histories. My goal is to offer an affirming, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself, your values, and your path forward. <image:title>Reiki - Reiki Energy Healing What is Reiki? Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" called prana flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. How does Reiki work? Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way. *It is important to note that Reiki will never cause any sort of harm to the individual receiving it, and there are no side effects or complications. It is safe for everyone, including children, babies, and pets. What does Reiki treat? Reiki has had a positive effect on all forms of illness and negative conditions. Including: Tension and anxiety Head or stomach aches Negative effects of chemotherapy, and post-operative pain Depression/Low self-esteem Improving and increasing the healing rate of broken bones and sprains Muscle Aches Fibromyalgia Arthritis Morning sickness/Nausea Certification Dr. Turner received her level 1, 2, and master level Reiki certification through CORE El Centro’s training program, located in Milwaukee, WI. in 2016 - 2017. Reiki Fees 30 minute Reiki session without psychotherapy: $40 60 minute Reiki session without psychotherapy: $80 Reiki sessions complementary with Psychotherapy Services Fees are due at time of service (Cash, check, credit card).</image:title>
